Our equine externship program offers veterinary students an immersive look into equine sports medicine, lameness evaluation, and ambulatory practice in one of the Bay Area’s most respected performance horse practices.

This program is ideal for students considering an equine internship or a future career in equine performance medicine.

Externship Philosophy

Our externship aims to provide veterinary students the opportunity to observe quality equine medicine in a learning environment that is conducive to increasing their knowledge and skills, along with exposure to the day-to-day factors of managing a private practice.
